One of the reasons i'm off sugar is because of it's addictive nature. I hate the feeling of NEEDING something. I guess that is also why I don't drink coffee or alcohol. Although, I do like a little baby coffee once in a while at cooking school while i'm falling asleep (they have ridiculously good coffee). Anyway, I've been eating oatmeal for breakfast consistently for the last month (since I've been traveling and oatmeal is my best friend). When i'm home I try to change up my breakfasts because eating the same thing-every day creates a lack of 'variety' within your diet and therefore a lack of different nutrients.
So anyway, I feel like I'm becoming addicted to oatmeal! I went two days without eating it because I was too cheap to buy steel cut oats and thought i'd just eat variations of the quinoa I already had for Breakfast and Lunch. I had a weird feeling of anxiety and just did not feel complete. So now that i've kicked my sugar 'addiction' I apparently have a mild form of 'oatmeal addiction'? awesome, just awesome.
So anyway, I just read this...
I'm pretty sure it's someone making fun of something like what I just wrote but... interesting/humorous none the less. xx
