Hence, These delicious Soy Glazed Meatballs. Ugh... they are just as good as "Fatty Patty's" sept for... hers are completely different...
SesameSoyMeatballs
1/3 cup minced green onions
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
1 tsp crushed red pepper or chili powder
6 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 pound ground sirloin
Cooking Spray
1. Preheat the oven to 400'
2. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and add beef; mixing gently. Don't over mix this or your meatballs will be tough! Shape beef mixture into 20 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs.
Recipe is adapted from Cooking Light and is only $2.50 a serving.
Also, if you don't have sesame oil don't sweat it...it's more of a flavor than an actual 'oil' but you can use almond or olive. Whatever you have. Adapt and eat!
One serving is 5 Meatballs for 241 Calories.
